ooops... somehow i haven't finished the last post...


anyway, i've just finished the first preparation seminar GLEN-Geco in airion, close to paris.
IT WAS GREAT!!!! hard hard work, but paid off :)

more details soon, cause now my friend is trying to sleep in her tiny room (that we're sharing) in paris.

ooooh.... that was busy.... in warsaw, there are conferences, meetings, movie festivals etc. ALL THE TIME. and everything is interesting, and everywhere there are exciting projects coming up.

last time i saw them at the airport in cotonou (benin...) and here they were - in warsaw!! we've spent a great week, including discovering warsaw, playing memory (pyzia rulez!:)) and enjoying easter in pupki. it was good to see them! awanou kaka!

what else...? warsaw's busy... i've spent some good time with my friends, cathing up on their lives... i took part in a very exciting workshop on EPAs (ha! it's time to set the international trade right!!!), went to see some good african movies (there's a great african movies festival in warsaw!) - check out "Indigenes", it's really good, distributed efte's letter about fair trade. then another friends' visit and i back on track!

the upcoming week looks busy... and geco seminar is coming soooon (sunday afternoon i'll be already in france..)

mixed mixed feelings

i was a little unfair last time when i wrote about warsaw. now i've come to appreciate it much more, but still there's a lot of 'buts'. my mood changes every fifteen seconds from loving warsaw deeply and never wanting to leave to missing everyone and everything that is not in warsaw...

warsaw's grown a lot. it's all new and really beautiful (esp now with all the blossoming trees). there's a few new buildings, renovated streets, metro stations --- but the new buildings are huge shopping malls, expensive condos, all in glass and steel. is this warsaw that i want?

there's a lot going on. film festivals, concerts, arts --- but there's not much variety. now that salsa and modern dance are so trendy, it's really hard to find a jazz dance class

it's good to be among friends and know everything and everyone --- but since i came back, i haven't been to a coffeshop where i wouldn't meet by accident a friend or two. it's nice but feels claustrophobic. and still it's 99% white middle-class catholics and not much space to discover and learn.

but there're some just good things :)
..i'm living with pyzia, karol and two other friends and it's sweet.
..efte (our brilliant non-profit) is doing great and growing in power quickly. soon we'll take over the world:)

things are good. efte is blossoming, the uni is as it was, a new metro station is ready. i'm missing everyone everywhere (phila. benin. gdansk. pupki and many many more)

no i jestem

jestem spowrotem. teraz juz na dobre (albo prawie dobre).
dziwnie jest dziwnie, ale o tym pozniej. w koncu to tylko jeden dzien pelen na razie w warszawie spedzony.

wielka tu buzia dla tych wszystkich, co po mnie na lotnisko wyszli. to było niesamowite! dziekuje bardzo bardzo.

renew seminar w gdansku super. generalnie, patrzcie na posta o team seminar. miło.
fajnie tez rulona w pociagu spotkac. i czechow glenowych i wloszke z wlochem. milo tez.
